Approximately only 1/3 of website visitors initiate a room booking and only 5% of those complete the booking, leaving the vast majority of website visitors unexposed to the hotel rates and special offers. In this multi-channel, multi-device world we live in, travel consumers initiate 17 touch-points before making a hotel booking (Google research). Perdido Beach Resort worked with HeBS Digital to launch a Reservation Abandonment Application Suite to steer visitors to complete the booking on the direct online channel – the property website.
