Perdido Beach Resort Reservation Abandonment Application Suite

Beach Resort Recovers 260 Bookings in Five Months

Approximately only 1/3 of website visitors initiate a room booking and only 5% of those complete the booking, leaving the vast majority of website visitors unexposed to the hotel rates and special offers. In this multi-channel, multi-device world we live in, travel consumers initiate 17 touch-points before making a hotel booking (Google research). Perdido Beach Resort worked with HeBS Digital to launch a Reservation Abandonment Application Suite to steer visitors to complete the booking on the direct online channel – the property website.

Perdido Beach Resort’s marketing strategy is centered around keeping costs low while maximizing revenue from direct bookings, and the Reservation Abandonment Application Suite has been key to achieving this goal. Each component of this suite continues to successfully direct website visitors back to the client’s booking engine to complete their reservation, instead of booking on a costly (to the property) OTA.
