Employee Spotlight: Jenny, Account Supervisor

You’re familiar with HEBS Digital’s award-winning services and products—now meet the team that makes it all happen. This month meet Jenny Jones, Account Supervisor in HEBS Digital’s Las Vegas office.


What’s your role at HEBS Digital and what do you do?

I’m the Account Supervisor in the Las Vegas office, leading Pod 3. It’s my job to oversee both my own and my team’s clients and budgets to make sure we are maximizing their revenue and direct bookings through the initiatives they run with HEBS Digital. These initiatives include everything from website projects and SEM campaigns to multichannel initiatives and content marketing.


What did you do before working at HEBS Digital?

I started my career doing a mix of digital and traditional marketing, as well as website merchandising for Vegas.com. In this role, I learned that I had a passion for hospitality and tourism, the digital space, and Las Vegas in general. From there I moved on to MGM Resorts International where I worked at the corporate office as a media buyer (display banners, video, lead generation, etc.) for New York-New York, Monte Carlo, MGM Grand Detroit, Mandalay Bay, plus Cirque du Soleil and other shows put on at each hotel. After that, I worked at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino as their Interactive and Online Media Manager. Here I gained experience with other aspects of the hotel business, getting more involved with marketing concerts and events, food and beverage, nightlife, and casino marketing.


What’s your favorite part about your job?

I have a few favorites. One thing about working in the digital space, and at HEBS specifically, is that I’m always learning new things. Our industry is constantly changing and keeping us on our toes—and I love that challenge! I learn something every day whether it’s a best practice for SEM or SEO, a new technology or functionality we’re offering for our websites, or even how to put gifs on your Instagram story. I also love the people. It’s great to be surrounded by people who are so driven and passionate about what we do every day, from our team in Las Vegas to everyone in New York and our other global offices. Finally, I can’t forget about our amazing clients. Each one comes with their own challenges and obstacles, but they also teach me so much. It’s rewarding to know that they view us as a true partner and extension of their team.


What’s your favorite destination you’ve been to before, and why?

Mexico for the beaches. NYC for the karaoke. Vegas for the people watching. Rome for the gelato (in my pre-vegan days). London for the museums. Canada for the politeness. Amsterdam for the cafes. Spain for the tapas.
