In this month’s Employee Spotlight, Senior Project Manager Jasmine M. Hamlette fills us in on her agency background, her favorite part of working at HEBS Digital, and more.
What’s your role at HEBS Digital and what do you do?
I am a Senior Project Manager focusing primarily on leading the technical, UX/UI and launching efforts for our Elite Multi-Property clients. Basically, I move the pieces that bring together various teams so we can launch beautiful new websites!
What did you do before working at HEBS Digital?
Before working at HEBS Digital I worked at a creative web and branding agency in Williamsburg, Brooklyn where I specialized in e-commerce website design, development, branding, creative production, digital marketing planning, and strategic content development primarily for beauty and fashion brands. There I managed a team of full-stack developers, senior/junior designers, several interns, and a copy team, as well as external freelancers for photography, fashion styling, location management, and more. I primarily worked on platforms like Magento (1&2), BigCommerce, and Demandware, and also worked with some clients to build custom e-commerce solutions.
What’s your favorite part about your job?
My favorite part about my job is my team. I’ve always taken great pride in the importance of the people you work with on a daily basis, so they are the greatest part of my job. Ensuring that I am there to help them in any way possible and making sure we are constantly learning, growing, and improving makes me want to keep coming back.
What’s your favorite destination you’ve been to before, and why?
So far my favorite destination has been the Bahamas. There is something about the warmth of the people and the amazing food that just takes you away!
What’s an essential item you can’t travel without?
Cocoa butter! Anywhere and everywhere I go I must have it. When I travel my skin takes a beating and Cocoa Butter revives it.
