Case Study: Google AMP Improves Denver Hotel’s Mobile-First Strategy

What’s the problem?

As a new hotel brand opening in Denver’s micro-district, The Dairy Block, The Maven was looking to increase visibility on search engines and engage more users on their website. Being surrounded by the area’s best shopping and restaurants, and in walking distance to many of Denver’s hot spots, they needed to showcase their prime location online to potential guests.


What’s the end goal?

The goal was to drive engagement among key customer segments on the website, increase time spent on the site, decrease bounce rates and increase organic traffic on mobile.


How did we solve it?

As a key initiative for a strong mobile strategy, Google AMP was recommended to highlight the top performing and most essential pages on the hotel’s website.

The Proof:

Four months after enabling Google AMP, there was a 36.8% increase in bookings initiated, a 17.3% increase in unique visitors, and a 1.4% decrease in bounce rate from mobile device natural search results.
